Nina Miller, LCMHC

Nina Miller, LCMHC is a licensed clinical mental health counselor, working with individuals on a broad variety of issues and specializing in couples therapy. She has also done extensive work with organizations in team building, leadership training, change management and conflict resolution.

For over 25 years Nina has worked in the human relations field, locally and internationally, promoting a culture of peace by helping individuals, couples and groups to understand and appreciate the values and differences of others. She has studied and practiced in several spiritual traditions and is currently a student of Sandra Maitri and the Diamond Approach to Self-Realization.

After receiving her Master’s degree at the University of Vermont, Nina’s early professional work was at the UVM Counseling Center. Subsequently, as partner at Commonwealth Consultants, she worked as an organizational consultant and human relations trainer. In 1994 Nina co-founded LifeWorks Center in Bristol, Vermont – a home for many years to her private practice of individual and couples psychotherapy. While there she was director of Journey to Peru, a cross-cultural immersion program which she co-founded with Don DeMercurio. While transitioning her personal and professional life to Chittenden County, Nina enjoyed collaborating with colleagues at Vergennes Counseling Center.

Nina is offering individual and couples therapy as well as leading groups and workshops at Essence Institute in downtown Burlington, Vermont.
